Phoenix Brickwork would like to thank everyone who sponsored the Phoenix team taking part in Nottingham's Inflatable Fun Run. The event targeted to raise £2,000 for Mental Health chairty, CALM, however after Phoenix's own contribution, the target was smashed raising over £3,000!
The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is an award-winning charity dedicated to preventing male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK. In 2015, 75% of all UK suicides were male.
Every two hours a man in the UK takes his own life - that's 84 every week, largely unseen, other than by the family and friends they leave behind.

which are confidential, anonymous and staffed by trained professionals - Bereavement support through the Support After Suicide Partnership, hosted by CALM

- The CALMzine, a free quarterly men’s lifestyle magazine to entertain, inform and inspire young men
- Successful campaigns tackling stereotypes of masculinity, suicide and male mental health
