Ten years ago today, 20th September 2010, Phoenix Brickwork emerged as a full trading company with £10k working capital to its name!
Christian Watson started the business mindful of his weaknesses and the need for people around him whose skills supported his own. After a year of 20hour days, he found just that and the original 4 members of staff; Paul O'Neill, Emma McEwan, Malc Hancock and Carl Taylor are still with the company supporting the additional 40 employees and 200 sub-contractors who work with #teamPhoenix today.
A special recognition to Ian Andrew who actually worked for Phoenix Brickwork from the 13th September 2010... one week before the company existed!
The core of the business remains the same now as it did when the business was set up; it's about delivering outstanding customer service and high quality workmanship safely to every project undertaken.
A decade later and there is so much to be proud of; the growth both financially and in people added to the team.
Plus the wide range projects undertaken to date across the country and those projects still to be completed.
